About Tutoronics
Tutoronics is an online tutoring platform connecting students with qualified and experienced tutors to provide personalised academic support. We are looking for knowledgeable and dedicated Finance tutors to teach students following international curricula, including IGCSE, AS Level, and A Level.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and interactive online Finance lessons.
- Explain financial concepts, principles, and calculations clearly using practical examples.
- Teach relevant topics such as financial statements, budgeting, cash flow management, investment appraisal, sources of finance, financial planning, and financial analysis according to the assigned curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, practice questions, revision materials, and past-paper exercises aligned with the relevant exam board.
- Help students develop analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Support students with exam preparation and understanding complex financial concepts.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
- Conduct online classes using Google Meet, Zoom, digital whiteboards, and screen-sharing tools.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of online tutoring experience.
- Strong subject knowledge in Finance and related concepts.
- Experience teaching IGCSE, AS Level, and/or A Level students.
- Familiarity with relevant international curricula and exam boards, such as Cambridge International and Pearson Edexcel.
- Excellent English communication and explanation skills.
- Proficiency in online teaching tools, including Google Meet, Zoom, digital whiteboards, and screen sharing.
- A relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable environment for online teaching.
- Ability to deliver structured, engaging, and student-focused lessons.
