New OnePlus smartphone with Snapdragon SoC appears on Geekbench

The OnePlus Nord 6 was launched in India earlier this month. It offers a 165Hz display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and a large 7,500mAh battery. Now a new OnePlus smartphone with the model number “CPH2805” has appeared on Geekbench.

According to an X post by Abhishek Yadav, the model number “CPH2805” belongs to the OnePlus Nord CE 6. The model is likely to be positioned as a cheaper alternative to the regular Nord 6. The Geekbench entry shows that the smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, a mid-range SoC from Qualcomm that is also used in smartphones like the Poco M8 Pro 5G.

The entry also shows that the device comes with 8GB of RAM and runs Android 16. It achieved 1,101 points in the single-core test and 3,117 points in the multi-core test. For comparison: The OnePlus Nord CE 5 with the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 performed better in our test and achieved 1,325 points in the single-core test and 4,201 points in the multi-core test.

A previous leak suggested that the OnePlus Nord CE 6 and Nord CE 6 Lite will launch in May. The Nord CE 6 is said to be based on the OnePlus Turbo 6V, which was previously released in China with a 6.78-inch 144Hz display, a 9,000mAh battery and a 50MP main camera.
