Tangerine Raspberry Mule – delicious, wintery cocktail

So, how are the last nine days until Christmas going for you?
Everything completely relaxed or already stressed out with a never-ending to-do list?

For me, Christmas stress is limited this year. But I have to admit that I made rigorous compromises in many areas. I love Christmas though. The anticipation, the tons of cookies that I bake, the many people that I gave presents to every year, the culinary gifts from the kitchen that wanted to be prepared, the planning of the delicacies that would be available on the three days of the festival and in between a little Christmas market, mulled wine and everyday stuff.

Well. Unfortunately, sometimes you learn that powers are not infinite. And that my day only has 24 hours…
And so this year there will be significantly fewer packages being packed and somehow everything will be slowed down a bit. Hurts a little for now, but also makes me feel a little better.

But there are always nice moments in between. And unfortunately you don’t know whether you’re just noticing it because there’s a little more breathing room.

And if you would like a little inspiration to toast a nice moment with your loved ones, then here is the idea! Of course tested! Multiple times! Because sometimes you can just capture the moment for a moment and enjoy it… with the right people around you…

And by the way, this reincarnation of the Moscow Mule with its raspberry color also looks highly decorative and appetizing. Not true?

Tangerine Raspberry Mule

The mixture of raspberry and mandarin is extremely tasty with ginger beer and classic vodka! And it’s also seasonal, as you simply use frozen raspberries. And fortunately, tangerines are now in high season!

By the way, if you (like me) always have a whole bunch of tangerines in the house and don’t just want to snack on them plain or make them into drinks, I can also warmly recommend this tangerine bundt cake.

Ah yes, now would probably be the time when I could really advertise the vitamins that are in the drink. Just a little joke on the side ;-)! No, the Mandarin Raspberry Mule is simply delicious and unfortunately dangerously drinkable…

Here’s to the beautiful moments! For the benefit!

Tangerine Raspberry Mule

Tangerine Raspberry Mule
For two glasses:
2 tangerines (approx. 250 g total weight including peel)
100 g frozen raspberries
1/2 lemon
200 ml ginger beer
100 ml vodka
Ice cubes
optional: edible golden sugar for decoration

Preparation:
Peel the tangerines and put them in a blender cup. Allow the raspberries to thaw and add them too. Puree the fruits very thoroughly with the hand blender. Now strain the fruit puree through a sieve so that the seeds and the skin of the mandarin remain in it. Squeeze the lemon half and add it to the fruit puree.

Half fill two glasses with ice cubes. Divide the ginger beer and vodka between the two glasses and pour in. Also pour in the fruit puree and stir once. Serve immediately!

Cheers!
