The consultant will work with clinical colleagues to deliver safe, evidence-based services and support continuity of care across the patient journey.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic kidney conditions, including complex cases.
- Develop and review individualized treatment plans, including dialysis and renal replacement care where appropriate.
- Interpret relevant laboratory results, imaging, and clinical findings, and document decisions accurately in patient records.
- Coordinate referrals and care with internal medicine, nursing, laboratory, and other specialist teams.
- Provide clear counseling to patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and kidney health.
- Participate in clinical reviews, quality improvement, and education activities in accordance with institutional protocols.
This is an on-site specialist role based in Gujranwala, Pakistan. The consultant is expected to maintain professional standards, patient confidentiality, and effective communication while contributing to reliable nephrology services.
