The Cologne startup scene remains dynamic. Here are some of the most promising, especially young, Cologne start-ups that we are following more closely. These include: mentalhub, Wakeboard Campus, neuland.ai, H2ALL and Mapletics.

Cologne and the surrounding area are a good place to live, celebrate and start a business. In the past few weeks and months, exciting new startups have emerged in the cathedral city. Some of these companies are still very new and we would like to introduce them here.
mental hub
Mentalhub is a peer support platform for people with lived and supported experience of psychosis. “Our platform is the interface between clinic and outpatient community care. It offers a safe space for exchange, orientation and personal recovery,” says the team of founders Bahtiyar Yilmaz, Louisa Süß, Christian Steins and Kerem Böge.
Wakeboarding campus
Wakeboard Campus is a hybrid learning platform that is fully dedicated to the topic of wakeboarding. “Redefining wakeboarding with a science-driven learning platform and connected community,” says the startup founded by Nico von Lerchenfeld.
neuland.ai
The company neuland.ai, founded by Karl-Heinz Land, offers with neuland.ai HUB a ““trustworthy AI platform” that wants to be a safe space “for sovereign, context-accurate AI use in business, politics and science”. “neuland.ai HUB brings secure AI to every team in the company,” the company is certain.
H2ALL
H2ALL, founded by René Bacher, Antonia Spicher and Johannes Steingass, relies on a SaaS platform that aims to accelerate the realization of hydrogen projects. “By connecting all stakeholders – from customers to manufacturers – on one platform, we accelerate project development, reduce costs and secure investments in the future of the hydrogen economy,” explains the company.
Mapletics
The startup Mapletics, founded by Robin Beyer, offers a social sports app that “turns your city into an interactive playground”. “On a dynamic map, users discover local sports venues, find teammates at their level and organize spontaneous meetings, all connected via real-time chat,” it says.
