Wow, another month has passed! Can you believe it’s already the fourth quarter of the year?
Before we devote ourselves extensively to the golden October (and a blink of an eye later we are already busy with the pre-Christmas season), we would like to look back once again at a colorful, intense and beautiful September.
This year, September lived up to the term “transitional month” because everything was there in the last four weeks. The most beautiful late summer days that reconciled us with the rainy July, but also doomsday rains and the first really cold nights.
For my wardrobe this meant: one day “dress + sandals”, the next “wool coat and boots”. And two days later another foretaste of the dream of a sunny, golden October with a trench coat with a dress and sneakers. Yes, I may have already bought one or two autumn highlights for my wardrobe – and a few more pieces on my very personal wish list for the new season. At this point a little insight into my list:
The most beautiful chocolate brown leather boots and the midi corduroy dress have already landed in my wardrobe and I already love the combination for fall!

September took us to the Allgäu region for work and to Italy twice. Once to Lake Garda for a project, the second time (surprise, surprise!) to South Tyrol. We have already reported on one part of our South Tyrol trip here, and you can find our content on Instagram for the second part here.
And what is the beautiful location in this picture all about? We’ll tell you that on Instagram too!

Our private highlight last month was the Glücksfühle Festival, which we visited for the third time this year. It was once again a wonderful, colorful mix of a wide variety of music styles: from the most famous DJs like Steve Aoki, Robin Schulz, Armin van Buuren and many more to popular German artists like Sido, Nico Santos or Apache 207.
On the one hand, every year there are acts that you are particularly looking forward to (this year, for example, it was the Black Eyed Peas, last year the Backstreet Boys), and on the other hand, you always discover artists that you would probably never have attended a concert otherwise – but who really inspire you live.
We’re lucky that the festival site is so close to Chris’ parents’ house that we can cycle to the entrance in just a few minutes and take a short break at home every now and then. A really nice and therefore relaxed festival experience.
And that brings us to another topic that is our top priority right now: our vacation planning. It’s hard to believe since we’ve been traveling so much this year – but apart from the three days at Lake Kaltern in August, we haven’t had a private vacation yet.
We’re planning our vacation in November again this year, but we’re still not quite sure whether we should stick with the tried and tested or try something new. The most important criterion: The destination has to be warm, and it should also be right by the sea. So it will be a long way off again for us. At this point we would also be very happy to hear your insider tips!
Well, that’s it for now! We wish you a nice start to the long weekend and will see you again very soon!
PS: I also have a book tip for all thriller fans among you: “Dinner – everyone at the table is good friends. Right?” by Emily Rudolf. Thanks for the gift, Mom, and thanks for the tip, Sue!
