INVESTMENTS

microagi
+++ The London investor Hummingbird, Northzone, LocalGlobe, Village Global and Redalpine are investing a record-breaking $55 million in microagi in the seed investment round. The Munich startup, founded in 2025 by Bercan Kilic, Nico Nußbaum and Yoan Iliev as well as Kapten & Son founder Artjem Weissbeck, is developing a platform for the productive use of AI-supported robotics. The young company’s solution optimizes models for specific industrial applications and acts as a neutral interface between robotics hardware and AI systems. “The funding will scale Atlas, the company’s data and deployment platform, across some of the world’s largest industrial companies,” says the team. Around 40 employees currently work for microagi. The team also recently caused a stir with its brand Shift, a type of data collection platform. The company recently used the platform to provide free cleaners in New York if the cleaners were allowed to wear cameras. More about microagi
