A little tip that makes breadsticks even more delicious!
A little tip that makes a big difference: Before baking, brush the breadsticks lightly with olive oil and sprinkle some coarse sea salt over them. Instead of rosemary, you can of course try or mix other herbs. Of course, you can also refine them with a little grated lemon peel, black sesame or parmesan in the dough.
Recipe: Breadsticks
Ingredients
200 ml warm water
100 ml milk
1/2 cube fresh yeast
1 tsp sugar
500 g spelled flour
2 tsp salt
2-4 stalks of rosemary
preparation
- Mix water and milk with yeast and sugar.
- Mix flour with salt. Form a well in the middle and add the yeast milk. Wait about 10 minutes until the yeast bubbles.
- Then knead well or knead with the machine.
- Chop up the rosemary and fold in.
- Let rise in a warm place for 1.5-2 hours.
- Knead again with flour, cut off small pieces and roll into very thin logs (they will still rise a little).
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 15 minutes until lightly browned.

Simply make your own crispy breadsticks: Italian recipe with just a few ingredients. Perfect as a snack, aperitif or soup.
- 200 ml warm water
- 100 ml Milk
- 1/2 Dice fresh yeast
- 1 TL Sugar
- 500 G spelled flour
- 2 TL Salt
- 2-4 Stems rosemary
