This fall, most likely in September, Apple will announce new iPhone models – but differently than in recent years. This year, according to various reports, the company is presenting the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and the foldable iPhone Ultra to the public. The iPhone 18 without an additional name as well as the second generation iPhone Air and possibly the iPhone 18e will not follow until next spring. According to some sources, the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max come in a total of four color options: silver, black, “light blue” and “dark cherry”. Although Apple had great success with the iPhone 17 Pro’s “Cosmic Orange” color option, it is disappearing from the lineup. You could already admire the new colors in pictures last week – however, these were models and not parts that were manufactured on behalf of Apple.
Case pictures leaked
Now, however, “yeux1122” published pictures on the Korean Naver blog that show the inside of the housing of the new iPhone models in the colors black, “light blue” and “dark cherry”:
Also in the pictures of the light blue and black model is the SIM card drawer. “yeux1122” did not provide images of the silver model’s case, but various sources suggest that Apple continues to offer this color option.
Authenticity unclear – but likely
Of course, it is not possible to verify the authenticity of these images and whether they are a final production batch or a test production. However, in recent years, images of case parts have come to light at a similar time, as secrecy becomes more difficult as market launch approaches and production is scaled up. Furthermore, a fake of such complex casing parts would not be easy to produce – and this strongly suggests that these are real images of the casing of the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro.
