In short: Apple hints at major innovations for Fitness+ +++ Apple’s RED fundraising campaign reached its goal | News

Apple’s sports offering called “Fitness+” has just received an update in this country, as the training units have also been available in German since this month – machine translated, not dubbed by real speakers. But now Apple has indicated that it wants to come up with further important innovations. In various videos, several trainers open a newspaper called “Apple Fitness+ Times” and show the headline on the cover.

“Exclusive: 2026 plans still under wraps – for now,” it says. There is also a note that experts predict to be careful in January. The campaign leaves open what this is about. It therefore remains unknown whether this simply means new sports or training programs – or whether the announcement of Health+ as an AI-based health service is imminent. The latter seems less plausible given reports of Siri integration. The new Siri generation won’t arrive until March/April at the earliest.

Apple’s RED fundraising campaign reached its goal
Apple donated five US dollars to the Global Fund, which works in over a hundred countries to fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria, with every purchase made in the Apple online store, in the local Apple store or in the official app. There used to be various Apple products in red (“Product-(RED)”), but now they are limited to the annual fundraising campaign.

As the institution has now officially announced, the campaign, which ran until December 7th, achieved its official goal. This refers to the three million dollars that Apple documented as the upper limit. This brings the total donation amount over the past 19 years to more than $250 million – which shows, however, that Apple previously earned much more for the Global Fund. The last red special models were the iPhone 14 and the iPhone SE 3.
