+++ Tradition meets entrepreneurial spirit! The Karlsruhers Schwabe Groupa healthcare solutions company, is making a massive push into the currently emerging HealthTech segment. Most recently, the group of companies took over the majority of the Berlin healthtech company Synapticonwhich includes the brain training app NeuroNation and the digital health application NeuroNation MED belong. Previously, the Schwabe Group, which is active worldwide, swallowed up the young company Braineffect (Dietary supplements). The company has also been investing for some time now naturalX Health Ventures (100 million) in busy health startups. naturalX around Marvin Amberg has already invested in companies like Functional health, Hilo, Kyan Health, Meela, Flow Neuroscience and mybacs: In short: everyone who is active in the HealthTech segment should take note of the Schwabe Group. May Ventures
+++ A small, powerful team! Around a year after launching, the young AI investor May Ventures has already invested in four aspiring startups. The investments in are known so far conmeet (Borken) and mobilerun from Osnabrück (previously known as Droidrun). Dominik Lohle (most recently High-Tech Gründerfonds) and Maximilian Derpa (most recently Tenity) are behind the new early stage financier. In November of last year, HTGF legend also joined Alex von Frankenberg as a venture partner at May Ventures. The team recently announced the first closing (30 million). The target volume is 50 million euros. “With May Ventures, we are building a fund from Münster that not only finances AI, but also consistently applies it – as an AI-native VC with international standards,” says the team about the focus. AIDA Innovation Hub
+++ MaritimeTech startups should be there! The Rostock cruise giant AIDA starts with the AIDA Innovation Hub an “event format for innovative ideas, future-oriented technologies, new products and concepts that are relevant to the maritime industry”. For the Innovation Hub, AIDA is now looking for startups that take care of topics such as “decarbonization, sustainability, AI tools and smart solutions”. “Together with startups, tech companies and scientific institutions, we would like to implement pilot projects on board our fleet – practical, inspiring and with real impact. The winners can look forward to a cooperation with AIDA,” says the company. Sounds like a great deal! Applications are possible until June 26, 2026. The first AIDA Innovation Hub will take place on September 16, 2026 at the AIDA headquarters in Rostock. More about MaritimeTech

+++ StartupsToWatch! The Munich startup allO, founded in 2020, recently raised $14 million – including from New York investor Zigg Capital. Around $6.5 million had previously flowed into allO – including from 20VC, Keen Venture Partners and Mario Götze. The young company positions itself as an “all-in-one system for restaurants”. “allO unifies POS, integrated payments, reservations, kiosks, delivery, webshop, and back office into a single platform, with a suite of AI-powered digital employees on top,” is what the concept says. “AllO is the system I wish I had as an operator at Momofuku: not just a superior point-of-sale, but an autonomous operating system that can transform a restaurant’s business,” says Elizabeth Chrystal of Zigg Capital. The US investor now holds 17.4% of allO. More about allO
