Duna
+++ CapitalG, Alphabet’s growth investor, Index Ventures, Puzzle Ventures and Frank Slootman are investing 30 million euros in Duna. The German-Dutch FinTech, founded in Amsterdam in 2023 by two Stripe alumni Duco Van Lanschot and David Schreiber, aims to build a “global trust infrastructure by providing a digital passport for every company”. The target group for this “AI-native business identity platform” are banks, FinTechs and financial institutions. “The funding will be used to further expand our enterprise capabilities with compliant, auditable AI, while maintaining the high regulatory standards required by banks and large enterprises,” says the team. 10.7 million had previously flowed into Duna – including from Index Ventures. Morpheus Space
+++ The Munich NewSpace investor Alpine Space Ventures, European Investment Fund (EIF), Lavrock Ventures, Morpheus Ventures, Pallas Ventures, Vsquared Ventures and other old and new investors are investing 15 million US dollars in Morpheus Space. SpaceTech, founded in Dresden in 2018 by Daniel Bock and Istvan Lörincz, is developing a modular, electric propulsion system for small satellites. “Morpheus Space will deploy the funding to expand its mass-production capabilities and team, advancing the development of its next-generation mobility products,” says a press release. Alpine Space Ventures, Vsquared Ventures, Airbus Ventures and Techstars Ventures recently invested $28 million in Morpheus Space. More about Morpheus Space

Guardia
+++ The Dutch investor Peak, amberra, the corporate venturing studio of the cooperative financial group Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken, butterfly & elephant, the accelerator of GS1 Germany, as well as existing investors such as BonVenture, Dieter von Holtzbrinck Ventures (DvH Ventures) and Beurer are investing 8.5 million euros in Gardia. HealthTech (formerly known as caera) from Soest, founded as caera in 2019 by Marlon Visit and Michael Hummels, is developing a mobile emergency call system “that is specifically tailored to the needs of seniors”. By the end of 2024, around 9 million had already flowed into Gardia. Peak now holds 13.7% of the company. More about Guardia

Centurion
+++ The Bavarian 5X Ventures invests in Zentur.io. The startup from Landshut, founded in 2021 by Michael Detke and Alexander Stoll, takes care of the “transformation of traditional district heating networks”. Bayern Kapital (13.6%) and Enpulse Ventures (13.6%) recently invested a seven-figure sum in the company. More about Zentur.io
