5 Anime Weapons Stronger Than Enma from One Piece

Among the legendary blades in One Piece, Roronoa Zoro’s Enma occupies a unique position. Formerly wielded by Kozuki Oden, this blade possesses the borderline-nightmarish ability to extract massive amounts of its user’s Haki, forcing even elite swordsmen to master their own power before learning to control the weapon. In Zoro’s hands, Enma proves that the greatest blades demand equally great wielders.

That said, there are so many overpowered weapons in anime that are far stronger than Enma, even if only melee examples are taken into account. They can erase entire civilizations, manipulate reality or grant powers capable of reshaping their respective worlds. Enma is undoubtedly formidable, not to mention the other two swords in his arsenal, but Roronoa Zoro would instantly perish against the strongest anime weapons.

Anos’ Venuzdonoa Can Win Before the Fight Starts in Mao Gakuin

Enma pushes Zoro to the absolute limits of Haki, but The Misfit of Demon King Academy‘s Venuzdonoa falls into a completely different category. Infamously known as the Abolisher of Reason, Anos Voldigoad’s signature blade invalidates the very rules of combat. “No matter how tough, eternal, or infinite something is, Venuzdonoa will destroy it along with its reason.”

Forged from the authority of Abernyu, the Goddess of Destruction, this anime sword can erase every physical object in addition to concepts, laws, and the logic sustaining them. Venuzdonoa negates regeneration, circumvents immortality, ignores dimensional rules, and strikes targets even after they dodge the slash (because the blade magically invalidates the dodging).

Comparing Venuzdonoa with Enma is unbalanced because Zoro’s sword is firmly bound to One Piece‘s combat system, where victory relies on largely conventional ideas like strength, speed, endurance and technique. By attacking the underlying “reasons” behind literally any concept, Venuzdonoa renders everything and everyone that stands before it meaningless. In fact, adding another dozen weapons to Zoro’s Nine-Sword Style would still make zero difference.

You don’t understand the word impossible — not because you’re naive, but because you genuinely never accepted that it applied to you. You charge into every situation with the full force of your personality, your body, and your heart, and somehow the universe rearranges itself to accommodate you. You don’t lead through command; you lead through being so completely, recklessly yourself that everyone around you becomes a better version of who they were. You eat too much, feel too loudly, and care too deeply. The world calls it recklessness. Your crew calls it home. 🍖

You have made exactly one promise and you have organised your entire existence around keeping it. Stoic to a fault, terrifying in combat, and somehow always facing the wrong direction — you are the immovable foundation that the whole crew leans against when everything else shakes. You don’t ask for recognition. You don’t need it. The work is its own reward. The sword is the path and the path is the sword. You will lose a thousand times before you reach the top, and you will get back up every single time. That is not stubbornness. That is who you are. ⚔️

You are sharper than anyone in the room and you know it — but you also know exactly when not to show it. Pragmatic, resourceful, and carrying more than you ever show on your face, you are the reason the ship reaches anywhere at all. Every route was planned by you. Every impossible weather reading, every near-catastrophe avoided — that was you. The world tried to take everything from you once, and you built something extraordinary out of the wreckage. You love the people you’ve chosen fiercely, quietly, and without much ceremony. The map isn’t finished. You’ll get there. 🗺️

You spent so long being hunted for what you know that you forgot — briefly, painfully — that you were also worth loving for who you are. You carry the weight of erased history in your memory and the quiet certainty of someone who has survived what should have been unsurvivable. Calm where others panic, perceptive where others miss everything, and in possession of a dark humour that still catches people off guard. You don’t trust easily, and when you do, it is the most complete and devastating loyalty imaginable. You want to know the truth. You deserve to live to read it. 📖

You have principles carved so deep they function like a skeleton — invisible, structural, and the thing holding everything else upright. You cook for people because food is love expressed at its most honest. You fight for the crew because protecting them is the most natural thing in the world. You are elegant, occasionally absurd, capable of extraordinary tenderness and absolutely terrifying combat in the same five-minute span. You came from darkness and chose light so deliberately and so completely that it became your defining act. The sea called and you answered. All Blue is out there. You’ll find it. 🍳

Itachi’s Sword of Totsuka Needs a Single Stab to Win in Naruto

MixCollage-04-Jul-2026-07-32-PM-5494

Hidden deep within the overpowered Susanoo manifested by Naruto‘s Itachi Uchiha, the ethereal Sword of Totsuka doesn’t care about its targets’ power levels. All it needs is one successful attack to make contact, forcing anyone pierced by it into a “genjutsu world of drunken dreams.” In essence, it removes the opponent from the battlefield and throws them into an eternity of imprisonment.

Considering its size, user and appearance, the Totsuka blade is often mistaken for a ridiculously destructive weapon. Orochimaru spent a long time searching for the legendary blade, only to become its most famous victim when Itachi dragged him out from Sasuke’s Cursed Seal, severed nearly all of his snake heads, and sealed him within the sake gourd that also served as Totsuka’s scabbard. A resurrected Nagato also became the sword’s victim, effectively turning the tide of the Fourth Great Ninja War.

Zoro isn’t a perfect swordsman; on the contrary, he permits himself to be injured if that means gaining an advantage over his opponent in some way. But what sort of benefit could Enma possibly offer when the Sword of Totsuka can simply dispatch him into an inescapable world?

Ichibe’s Ichimonji Rewrites Identity and Power in Bleach

The strongest Zanpakuto in Soul Society is Yamamoto’s Ryujin Jakka, formidable enough for the two most powerful Bleach villains to actively neutralize the sword itself. While Ichibe Hyosube’s Ichimonji doesn’t reduce the universe to ashes, it manipulates something far more fundamental: the very names that define existence and everything in it. Names are narratively linked to identity and power, elevating Ichimonji to the pinnacle of anime swordsmanship.

In its released proto-Shikai form, Ichimonji transforms into a calligraphy brush that produces black ink. Anything touched by this mysterious substance loses its name and all the associated powers. Ichibe demonstrates his weapon’s effectiveness by splashing ink on Ywach, whose strength falls significantly. Like every elite Zanpakuto in Bleach, Ichimonji also possesses a Bankai that’s vastly superior to its Shikai.

Unlike most Zanpakuto, however, Shirafude Ichimonji’s renaming power can only be used after Ichimonji coats the target with the Shikai’s black ink. Ichibe must first erase Yhwach’s name before renaming the villain as “Black Ant,” but the outcome is absolute. Yhwach would never have survived without the Almighty activating at the right time, so imagine what would happen to Zoro and Enma.

Asta’s Demon-Slasher Katana Erases Armies Without Hurting Allies in Black Clover

Black Clover‘s Asta wields four swords, each of them powerful in their own right: the Demon-Slayer, the Demon-Dweller, the Demon-Destroyer, and the Demon-Slasher. The last one used to be Yami Sukehiro’s katana, changing hands because Asta couldn’t defeat Dante Zogratis with the other three blades in his arsenal. Once it absorbs Anti-Magic and submits itself to the hero’s five-leaf clover grimoire, it becomes an extremely valuable weapon.

The Demon-Slasher katana has enormous narrative power because it’s the only sword forged by Asta’s journey rather than inherited from history. Thankfully, any relevance to the protagonist’s character arc pales before the blade’s magnificent strength rooted in the bond Asta shares with Liebe.

During the battle against Lucifero, Asta unveils Infinite Slash Equinox, a Demon-Slayer Katana-exclusive technique that sends a huge Anti-Magic slash across the battlefield. Allies like Yami and William Vangeance were utterly immune to this attack, proving that Asta could now deliver massive damage without worrying about friendly fire. All things considered, the Demon-Slasher Katana’s ability to eradicate a battlefield, while sparing those its wielder wants to protect, highlights a level of precision Enma was never designed to achieve.

Loki’s Ragnir Outclasses Enma on Every Level in One Piece

Forget other anime, Zoro doesn’t even wield the most powerful weapon in One Piece. A few others are shown to be stronger, with Loki’s Ragnir effortlessly surpassing Enma after its recent introduction in the Elbaph arc. An ancient Warhammer that consumed the Squirrel-Squirrel Fruit, Model: Ratatoskr, Ragnir’s sentience prevented unqualified hands from touching it for hundreds of years. Loki, however, was deemed worthy, and the resulting combination nearly broke Elbaph.

Ragnir’s raw strength is enough to counter Haki-infused attacks, effortlessly destroying the previous hammer amplified by Loki’s Conqueror’s Haki. Similar to Thor’s Mjölnir from the MCU, it cannot be lifted by anyone other than its chosen user, who maximized Ragnir’s destructive potential during his fight with Imu.

Loki may have lost that battle, but Ragnir’s displays of power cemented its superiority over Enma. The squirrel-hammer can instantly freeze opponents, generating ice of such durability that Imu’s Omen failed to crack the block containing a frozen Gunko. Loki’s lightning-themed Dragon-Dragon Fruit, Model: Nidhoggr forms an excellent pair with Ragnir, as both Devil Fruits magnify each other, allowing the prince to fuse two different elemental abilities into overpowered combinations.
