Apple is pretty proud of the Vision Pro’s input methods: A targeted look at the control panel and a few simple hand gestures are often enough in everyday life. A hardware keyboard is of course more suitable for entering longer texts. However, in a new patent, Apple provides another input option: This involves a “hand controller” in the form of a pen, which houses numerous controls. It can also be used in landscape format.

Apple claims that it can use such a pen with the iPad and many other devices such as headsets, smartphones, notebooks and smartwatches. If the Vision Pro is used, Cupertino probably has in mind the display of a virtual tip – such as a computer-generated brush head. The device also records swiping, writing and shaking movements as well as other gestures.

After HBO content is removed: Submit special notice for WOW
HBO Max is now also available in this country for a monthly fee between 5.99 and 16.99 euros (see here). This is not necessarily good news for subscribers to the streaming platform WOW: WOW now has to do without a remarkable number of high-quality HBO productions. This applies to classics like Sex and the City and The Sopranos as well as series like Euphoria. Due to the gaping gap in WOW’s catalog, the Hamburg consumer advice center sees the platform’s “overall character of the streaming offering” changed. For many subscribers, an essential component is simply eliminated and there is a significant change in performance. The consumer advice center therefore believes that a special right of termination is possible if the subscription has been taken out over a longer period of time.

There are several options available for special termination in accordance with Section 314 of the German Civil Code (BGB). A sample letter can be found on the consumer advice center’s website. It is important to point out that essential contractual content has been omitted – and thus the reference to the missing HBO series. It is also important to declare the termination as quickly as possible.
