Times is seeking a Tax Consultant to support clients with tax compliance, planning, and advisory needs. Based in Islamabad, this role requires sound knowledge of Pakistan’s tax framework and the ability to turn complex requirements into practical guidance. The consultant will work with client records and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate tax submissions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns, statements, and related documentation.
- Research applicable tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements, and communicate updates to clients.
- Assess financial records to identify tax exposures, deductions, and opportunities for compliant tax planning.
- Respond to client questions and assist with tax notices, audits, assessments, and other correspondence with authorities.
- Maintain organized, confidential client files and track filing deadlines and outstanding information.
- Coordinate with accounting and finance teams to resolve discrepancies and improve the accuracy of tax data.
The successful candidate will combine careful analytical work with clear client communication, discretion, and a dependable approach to deadlines.
