Hello everyone, Tom has transformed his room into a real racing room – and everyone who visits him immediately notices that this is not just a place to play, but rather to drive. Tom’s room is a place where enthusiasm for technology, design standards and pure racing spirit come together, as well as his second passion, the clamping building blocks. It all started with a new high-performance computer that delivers even demanding simulations with maximum details and stable frame rates. He configured the PC himself on one.de. This PC ensures that every vehicle, every route and every weather situation is displayed with impressive clarity and without compromise – the perfect basis for a real sim racing feeling. There is also the force feedback steering wheel Mozawhich Tom particularly values. Moza is now a fixture in the sim racing scene: high-quality materials, precise feedback, extremely resilient engines and an overall very reliable, robust construction. The force feedback is not only strong, but above all detailed. You can feel exactly what the tires are doing, what the track is like and what the vehicle’s limits are. For Tom this means: more control, more immersion and a more direct driving experience that almost makes the difference between gaming and real driving disappear.
But the heart of his setup – and most recent acquisition – is this OPLITE GTR S8 Infinity Force Cockpita true premium simulation cockpit that stands out not only for its elegant, motorsport-inspired design, but also for its impressive construction. Its structure is made of high-density carbon steel with a diameter of 48 mm, providing enormous rigidity – a crucial factor when mounting strong direct-drive steering wheels and potent load cell pedals. Oplite generally stands for solid, long-lasting products with an excellent price-performance ratio, and this cockpit shows exactly that. A big plus is the wide compatibility: whether Fanatec, Moza, Thrustmaster, Logitech, Turtle Beach, Nacon or Asetek – the GTR S8 Infinity Force White can be combined with almost all established sim racing components. This is important for Tom because he likes to expand and optimize. The numerous setting options make it possible to recreate different driving positions – whether GT, drift, F1 or rally. This means every driver can find their perfect position.
The equipment is also impressive: a real fiberglass bucket seat that is mounted on gliders and easily accommodates riders between 1.50 m and over 2.10 m; a reinforced pedal support that securely holds even strong load cell pedals; high-quality screws and thread inserts from the automotive industry; and the Full Force Kit, which gives the cockpit additional rigidity and an aggressive racing look. The use of quick releases allows for quick, hassle-free adjustments – ideal when Tom switches between long races, drift sessions or formula setups. The stiffened angles with elongated grooves also make it easy to retrofit your own accessories – for example from 3D printing. This makes DIY extensions possible without any problems.
But Tom wouldn’t be Tom if the setup was finished at this point. After Christmas the system will be used three monitorsthe handbrake, the triple screen monitor mount, one Button box and other practical extensions to make the driving experience even more immersive. A triple-screen setup will give him an impressive field of vision, almost like a real cockpit – perfect for precise corner entries and a better overview in hectic racing situations.
And of course the atmosphere also plays a big role: Tom prefers to drive in the dark. The LED lighting must be absolutely on point. Perfectly placed color accents, the right favorite posters or dynamic effects depending on the racing mood and an environment that is completely immersed in a racing ambience – all of this makes every session an experience. The end result is an impressive mix of technology, comfort and motorsport passion. Racing fun? Guaranteed – and a little more every day!
From time to time he also rides his Meta Quest 3 VR glasses. If he decides to do this, the outside world disappears completely – he then literally sits in the virtual cockpit, surrounded by 360° racing atmosphere. Particularly narrow routes, night rides or winding mountain passages feel even more intense. For him, this is an impressive addition to the monitors – an additional mode for maximum immersion.
Sincerely,
Looks like…COJA
