Hello, my dears, At first glance, a skateboard ramp and a stylishly designed garden don’t necessarily seem to go together. But our outdoor area proves exactly the opposite. This is where movement, creativity and modern garden design come together to create a place that is not only functional but also visually impressive. Our 9 x 5 meter skateboard ramp has long been more than just a sports area – it has become an integral part of our garden concept and gives the entire outdoor area a very special atmosphere.
The ramp was made of steel and wood and, despite its size, blends harmoniously into the surroundings. Its clear design language sets a modern accent and forms an exciting contrast to the soft shapes of the plants. It is precisely this interaction that makes it so special for us. Instead of hiding the ramp, we consciously integrated it into the design and gave it a frame that combines sportiness and coziness. Around the ramp, lush plants, ornamental grasses and evergreen trees create a natural setting. The abundance of green lightens up the striking construction and creates a pleasant connection between architecture and nature. Especially in the summer months, this creates a lively picture of different leaf structures, colors and heights, which gives the garden depth and character.
An important part of the concept is the adjacent lounge area. A modern paved path leads to a cozy daybed from blomus, which invites you to relax and linger. Here you can relax after a skate session, read a book or simply let your gaze wander over the garden. The clear lines of the daybed harmonize perfectly with the modern design and create a flowing transition between activity and relaxation. Large parasols provide pleasant shade on warm summer days and at the same time underline the high-quality design of the outdoor area. The ambience is complemented by selected decorative accessories and modern planters that structure individual areas and add additional accents. The result is a garden that does not appear overloaded, but rather impresses with carefully chosen details.
It gets particularly atmospheric in the evening hours. Then the lighting takes over the main role. Indirect light sources skillfully highlight plants, paths and seating areas and give the garden a warm, inviting atmosphere. The light highlights the contours of the ramp and ensures that it remains present as a design element even after sunset. This creates a place that develops its own charm at any time of day.
Of course, such a garden is constantly evolving. That’s why we’ve already implemented the next big change this year, because the ramp received a completely new surface and a new substructure. This not only further improves the technical quality, but also modernizes the appearance. For us, this project shows that a garden today can be much more than a classic green space. It can be individual, reflect personal passions and combine different uses. Our skateboard ramp stands for exactly that. It combines sport, design and a love of gardening in a way that makes the outdoor area unique and makes it a place where you enjoy spending time every day!
