Network, capital, knowledge: an accelerator can be a boost for founders. The most famous: Y Combinator in Silicon Valley. Being part of it is a kind of quality feature for founders. Anyone who has made it there is welcome to write it in their profile slogan on Linkedin.
In Europe, however, a startup hotspot is the Station F campus in Paris. Since January there has been a new program for founders: F/ai. The focus is on AI startups. Early stage. With the potential to generate one million euros in sales in less than six months. That’s the big goal: only those who are recommended are allowed to take part. You cannot apply.
The partner list for the program triggers “Oscar vibes” – just for the startup world. Or because we are in Paris: This is the crème de la crème. To name a few: OpenAI, Mistral, Anthropic, Lovable, Meta, Google. On the VC side: 20VC, Sequoia, Lightspeed, General Catalyst.

Everything seems exclusive.
We spoke to Jules Langeard, Startup Program Director at Station F. He helped develop F/ai and explains why the program was started, why only recommendations count – and what founders can expect there. We also exclusively name the first startups from the current batch. The full list is not expected to be published until April.
