Utopia Brands is seeking a Manager, Global Insurance to lead its international insurance program. The role partners with internal teams to understand operations and arrange compliant, cost-effective coverage across countries. This full-time position is based in Karachi and works an evening schedule aligned with US time zones, from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM PKT.
Responsibilities
- Manage global insurance across supply chain, transport, warehousing and payroll, coordinating master and local policies, including locally admitted coverage.
- Arrange and renew marine cargo, fleet and auto, property, business interruption, general liability, workers’ compensation, employers’ liability, group personal accident and EPLI policies.
- Monitor local insurance requirements, including US state and Canadian province requirements, and verify that carriers and logistics partners maintain adequate coverage and name Utopia as additional insured where required.
- Prepare insurance data, manage premium audits, endorsements and mid-term changes, and maintain a consolidated renewal calendar to prevent coverage lapses.
- Work with international brokers, underwriters and insurers; maintain backup placement options and negotiate improved costs and terms at renewal.
- Guide claims across regions, maintain a central claims register, report on losses and exposure, and respond clearly to internal insurance requests.
