I really missed the feeling of walking barefoot on a soft carpet made of natural fibers. So far in our home there have only been sisal carpets in the hallway and a play carpet in Hannes’ room.

I came across benuta by chance and fell in love with the ALVA carpet, which we now have in our dining room. The fact that it is 100% wool made it a favorite for me.
A carpet simply gives a room coziness and a relaxed atmosphere. The choice of color was clear to me from the start. It must be a carpet in light, natural tones. The wool white of the carpet allows me to simply switch off and relax. I need this clarity of colors in the house. Hannes is now also very tidy when eating, so that the carpet can lie under the dining table until our little one starts to eat solids. Afterwards he will give us warm feet on the sofa and cozy moments at the coffee table, which we love as a painting and craft table.
LYTTE – THEO Cream
A new children’s carpet was also needed for the play area in the living room. benuta has a wonderful children’s carpet brand, LYTTE. Of course, we found what we were looking for here and decided on the THEO Cream model. I would like to never get up from the wool carpet again. When the rugs arrived, we first laid them out in the dining room. Carpet THEO was immediately jumped on and danced by Hannes. He took off his socks and hopped barefoot across this really soft and high-quality carpet.
I think that says everything about the “coziness” of the carpet. Hannes loves him and we are all very happy too.
You should know that natural fiber rugs like our wool rugs leave some “material” in the beginning. But that goes away with time. We like the naturalness that these carpets bring into the house. Of course, some will say that you shouldn’t buy light-colored carpets if you have children, but these carpets are easy to clean and can withstand a lot.
