The successful candidate will collaborate with content and marketing teams to turn video topics, audience insights, and performance data into clear, engaging thumbnail concepts.
- Design eye-catching YouTube thumbnails aligned with video topics, brand guidelines, and target audiences.
- Develop multiple concepts and variations for testing, including layouts, typography, imagery, and visual hooks.
- Use composition, contrast, color, facial expressions, and hierarchy to make thumbnails effective at small sizes.
- Review competitor and channel trends while maintaining original, brand-appropriate creative direction.
- Revise designs based on feedback and organize editable files and final exports efficiently.
- Coordinate with content, advertising, and creative teams to meet publishing schedules.
