Anyone who buys Apple products in one of the company’s own branches or in the company’s web shop usually doesn’t have to worry about missing out on a discount campaign. Apple largely avoids time-limited price promotions in its own sales locations. However, authorized service partners or retail partners are free to sell Apple hardware cheaper. In the “Spring Offers” campaign, Amazon now has some Apple products on offer at reduced prices. AirPods cheaper
Anyone hoping for a cheaper Mac or an iPhone at a bargain price will be disappointed. All products presented in the spring promotion belong to the “Accessories” category: The Apple AirPods 4, for example, Apple’s Bluetooth earphones, cost 109 euros in the spring offer (instead of 149 euros) without, 149 euros (RRP 199 euros with active noise cancellation – i.e. 25 percent less than Apple. The AirPods Pro 3 are not part of the promotion, but at 203.99 euros they are still significantly cheaper than the recommended retail price (249 euros).
Mac accessories
For desktop use, the white Apple Magic Trackpad with USB-C port is available for less than 100 euros. The black one is reduced to at least 125 euros. The Magic Mouse is available for 63 euros. Apple keyboards are also cheaper in the short term – the version with Touch ID in the German-language layout costs 123 euros. Without Touch ID you can purchase the Apple Magic Keyboard for 91 euros. Amazon currently wants 169 euros for the extended keyboard with 105 black keys including Touch ID – that’s 26 euros less than Apple’s recommended retail price.
iPad accessories
Keyboard, trackpad and mouse work on the Mac and also on the iPad. However, compatibility with the following products is limited to Apple tablets:
There is also a discount of up to ten percent on the Magic Keyboard Cases for iPad Air (M3) – but be careful: these only apply to the English keyboard layout.
Universal accessories
Some Apple peripherals cannot be clearly assigned to one device; they are useful for many device types. The Apple USB-C-VGA multiport adapter (46.55 euros instead of 79 euros) is a decent bargain – anyone who often has to connect a Mac or iPad to third-party projectors or screens for presentations could benefit from this offer. Finally, the discontinued model of the USB-C charging adapter is also on offer: Apple’s 140-watt power supply with a USB-C port is currently reduced by 15 percent (compared to RRP) – to 55.24 euros. Other manufacturers
As always, it’s worth looking outside the box, for example to the accessory manufacturer Logitech: The Bluetooth version of the popular professional mouse MX Master 3S is currently available for 79.99 euros, the wireless trackball M575S for under 35 euros – also available in white. An Anker power supply currently costs around 70 instead of 90 euros, which also delivers up to 140 W of power. However, thanks to the foldable plug, a total of four ports and integrated display, it offers some additional functions – and a quick charging cable is also included.
