The skirt is the clothing item in summerwith which ankle boots come into their own. And not just a specific skirt: almost any silhouette will work as long as you balance the proportions correctly.
The midi skirt is probably the one most successful combination. This length, which reaches mid-calf and leaves the ankle and the ankle boot slightly visible, creates a clean and very feminine line. A romantic dress with floral patterns or fine stripes calls for equally delicate ankle boots: light suedelow heel, soft lines. A more structured dress – maybe made of cotton or linen with a geometric cut – but can easily handle a more striking ankle boot, with a slightly square toe or a metallic detail on the buckle.
