The French luxury brand “Hermès” offers high-quality, discreet fashion items – shirts, trousers, jackets and jewelry for women and men. With the “Birkin Bag,” which was produced in small quantities, the company created a pop culture phenomenon. Apple has been cooperating with the Parisian label since the first Apple Watch – the manufacturer’s leather bracelets are mentioned at every Apple Watch presentation. A new range of accessories for iPhone and Apple Watch is now available under the name “Paddock”. The entry-level model is a round, leather-covered MagSafe disc called “Paddock Solo”. If you place an iPhone on it, it will be charged via the one meter long USB-C cable. Alternatively, the AirPods Pro charging case or another Qi-compatible smartphone can also be supplied with power. There is also a leather tab that serves as a cable organizer. Cost: 950 euros – or 1,250 US dollars if you are staying in the USA.
Duo, Yoyo and/or travel case
The wider “Paddock Duo” allows Apple Watch and iPhone/AirPods Pro to be charged simultaneously. If you need to save space, use the Paddock Yoyo instead, which has an Apple Watch charging puck on one side, while power flows via MagSafe on the other. In between there is a spindle for winding the cable. Hermès charges 1,350 euros for each of the two charging adapters. In a set with a leather case, also handmade from calfskin, you can spend over 3,000 euros for stylish charging equipment – power supply not included.

The small figure with the two-tone Finder face has only appeared briefly in TikTok videos, but has already sparked extensive interest among the fan community. The developer James Thompson (PCalc, Dice) was apparently so impressed that he recreated the unofficial macOS mascot as a three-dimensional figure. The resulting images can now be downloaded to 512 pixels. A total of six images are available there in 5K resolution.
