The journalists’ club in the Axel Springer high-rise has already seen heads of state, politicians and media giants. On Wednesday evening the stage belonged to the Berlin startup scene.
Even before the official start of the BAD1 conference, around 60 founders and investors came together for an exclusive pre-dinner at Axel Springer (founding scene is part of Axel Springer). Also there: Delivery Hero founder Niklas Östberg, Felix Capital founder Frederic Court, SAP Signavio co-founder Gero Decker, Moss co-founder Ante Spittler and many other well-known faces from the tech scene.
Over drinks, dinner and a look over Berlin, we discussed, networked and talked about what it would take to bring Berlin back to the forefront of Europe. The pictures from the evening can be found here.
