Product roadmap Q1 2026

MuleSoft’s Q1 2026 product roadmap furthers our vision of helping you on the path to realizing an agentic enterprise. Here’s what you can look forward to over the next quarter.

Discover, govern, and manage any AI agent with MuleSoft Agent Fabric

AI innovation is happening everywhere – across teams, departments, and multi-cloud ecosystems. But this rapid growth has created agent sprawl along with the rise of unmanaged shadow agents that operate outside of IT’s view.

That’s why we’re enhancing MuleSoft Agent Fabric with new capabilities designed to bring order to this growing complexity. Our newest features, including automated agent discovery with Agent Scanners and an enterprise LLM Gateway, built on MuleSoft’s leading Flex Gateway, gives IT leaders the visibility they need and developers the flexibility they crave, ensuring that every AI agent and tool in your network is discovered, governed, and managed.

Agent Scanners | GA January 2026

Agent Scanners automate the discovery and cataloging of AI agents across popular agent platforms like Salesforce Agentforce, Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, and Microsoft Copilot Studio. These scanners persistently search for new and updated agents and automatically pull them and their metadata into MuleSoft Agent Registry, providing a real-time, single source of truth for all of your agentic assets.

Agent Registry | GA January and Q1 2026

  • Add MCP servers by URL: GA January 2026
  • Add agents by URL: GA Q1 2026

This feature further simplifies registration for homegrown or bespoke agents and MCP servers by enabling users to simply paste the asset’s URL into MuleSoft Agent Registry. The ability to add MCP servers by URL is GA in January 2026 with the ability to add agents by URL to follow later in Q1 2026.

Agent Registry: Public MCP Servers | GA January 2026

This enhancement provides a curated catalog of third-party, enterprise-ready MCP servers from the Official MCP Registry in MuleSoft Agent Registry. It allows developers to quickly discover and reuse trusted, secure, and maintained assets, cutting through the noise and risk of unverified servers while streamlining governance and connectivity.

Agent Visualizer: Enhanced Search | GA January 2026

Enhanced search capabilities in MuleSoft Agent Visualizer allow users to filter and search the Agent Visualizer map by agent or tool type. This provides better end-to-end visibility into how agents perform and interact, helping teams manage complex agent-to-agent and agent-to-tool relationships.

Trusted Agent Identity | GA January 2026

This capability enables agents to give aligned responses depending on who they are interacting with. The agent takes on the user’s identity, enabling it to provide consistent and accurate answers based on a users’ access and authorization. This helps implement zero trust rules by ensuring agents only have the permissions necessary to complete their tasks.

LLM Gateway | GA Q1 2026

Built on MuleSoft Flex Gateway, LLM Gateway serves as a unified point for enterprises to access multiple large language models (LLMs) to centralize governance, security, and cost control. It simplifies LLM usage by allowing organizations to intelligently route AI requests using semantic rules while ensuring high availability and resilience through load balancing and automatic fallback.

Supercharge developer productivity with MuleSoft Vibes

At Dreamforce 2025, we introduced MuleSoft Vibes, a purpose-built agentic experience designed to help IT teams design, build, manage, and operate integrations with AI. Built for the full application lifecycle and every role across the platform, MuleSoft Vibes turns natural-language, agentic development into something enterprise-ready.

Unlike generic vibe coding tools, MuleSoft Vibes is grounded in optimized pipelines and multi-stage agentic reasoning designed specifically for MuleSoft. This ensures AI-generated output is reliable, production-ready, and aligned with the standards required for business-critical integrations and APIs. Internal benchmarking shows Vibes delivers over 60 percent higher quality for Mule applications compared to direct prompting of general-purpose models.

MuleSoft Vibes is designed to be the place where teams work alongside AI across the integration lifecycle. This roadmap highlights the next set of capabilities that further strengthen Vibes as a secure, scalable, and intelligent agentic workflow for enterprise integration teams. Whether you’re an architect shaping an integration strategy, a developer building applications, an admin managing environments, or an operations team monitoring system health, MuleSoft Vibes supports each role with AI grounded in enterprise context.

MuleSoft Vibes: MUnit Tests | GA January 2026

Testing is foundational to integration quality, refactoring safety, and long-term velocity, but it is often slow and manual, particularly in environments with strict coverage and reliability requirements. MUnit Tests in MuleSoft Vibes automates this process by using AI to generate high-coverage test suites directly from Mule flows.

Teams can create and modify tests using natural language, while Vibes generates realistic mock and event data based on application metadata, removing one of the most common bottlenecks in effective testing. By embedding testing directly into the agentic development experience, MuleSoft Vibes makes quality, security, and maintainability integral to AI-assisted development rather than an afterthought. More broadly, this capability reflects Vibes’ focus on helping organizations adopt AI responsibly, balancing speed with consistency and governance.

MuleSoft Vibes: Custom Connector Support | GA March 2026

As enterprises increasingly rely on proprietary systems and custom integrations, generic AI generation quickly falls short of real-world needs. Custom Connector Support in MuleSoft Vibes addresses this gap by extending AI-assisted development to the connectors and patterns unique to each organization, making the experience relevant for developers working in complex, non-standard environments.

With this capability, Vibes can generate integrations that invoke custom and REST-based Anypoint Connectors published within a business group, ensuring AI-generated applications reflect existing enterprise investments rather than abstract examples. Vibes automatically generates the required POM dependencies and connector configurations, removing setup overhead and allowing teams to move directly from intent to implementation. By grounding generation in approved enterprise assets, custom connector support helps teams scale AI adoption without fragmenting architectures or duplicating work.

MuleSoft Vibes: Exchange Reuse Support | GA March 2026

As integration landscapes grow, unchecked code generation can lead to duplication, architectural drift, and rising maintenance costs. Exchange Reuse Support in MuleSoft Vibes is designed for architects and developers who need to scale delivery while maintaining consistency and control across teams. It is perfect for existing customers to encourage easier reuse of your assets in Exchange.

Instead of defaulting to net-new code, Vibes generates applications that consume approved Exchange assets, including system and process APIs, reinforcing a three-layer architecture by default. Using natural language prompts, Vibes recommends the most relevant assets within a business group, making it easier for teams to discover and trust what already exists. This enables faster delivery while reducing inconsistencies, preserving architectural intent, and ensuring integration portfolios remain governable as teams and use cases expand.

MuleSoft Vibes: Template Support | GA March 2026

As more teams adopt AI-assisted development, ensuring consistency across projects becomes increasingly difficult. Template Support in MuleSoft Vibes helps architects and platform teams establish a shared starting point for development, so speed does not come at the expense of standards.

With Template Support, teams can generate applications from trusted Exchange or local templates, grounding AI-generated output in approved project structures. This accelerates development while enforcing enterprise requirements such as security policies, configuration patterns, and naming conventions. By starting from proven foundations rather than blank projects, Template Support reduces risk, improves consistency across environments, and helps organizations scale AI-driven development with confidence.

MuleSoft Vibes: Global Rules Support | GA April 2026

As AI-assisted development scales across teams and business groups, enforcing enterprise policies manually becomes unsustainable. Global Rules Support in MuleSoft Vibes is designed for platform owners and architects who need to ensure governance keeps pace with increased automation.

With Global Rules Support, organizations can define centralized, natural-language rulesets that capture requirements such as security patterns, logging standards, naming conventions, and error handling. Vibes validates projects against deterministic rules derived from these rulesets, helping teams identify issues earlier and reduce compliance risk.

By embedding governance directly into generation, Global Rules Support allows AI-assisted development to scale responsibly while preserving organizational standards and operational trust.
