What’s New in Anypoint Partner Manager: Centralized Mapping, Optimized Payloads, and AI-Powered Insights

B2B integration has outgrown traditional EDI processes. Today’s transactions span APIs, events, documents, and AI-driven workflows, but many teams are still stuck managing them with manual processes and limited visibility.
MuleSoft’s Anypoint Partner Manager is designed for this new reality by helping teams simplify operations, scale faster, and bring intelligence into every B2B interaction. Let’s see what’s new with the latest Anypoint Partner Manager releases.
Simplify and scale B2B transformations
Centralized translation maps: B2B transformation logic shouldn’t be a bottleneck. Yet for many teams, even small mapping updates require modifying and redeploying multiple flows – slowing down change and increasing the risk of inconsistencies.
Anypoint Partner Manager introduces centralized translation maps, giving teams a single place to manage and version DataWeave mappings. With one activation, updates are applied instantly across all relevant message flows – eliminating repetitive deployments and dramatically simplifying change management at scale.

When it comes to creating those maps in the first place, MuleSoft Vibes brings AI-powered generation to B2B transformations – letting you describe your mapping requirements in natural language and get production-ready DataWeave code in seconds. Pair that speed of creation with centralized versioning, and your team can go from mapping requirement to deployed transformation faster.

Improve reliability and performance at scale
Message payload compression: Anypoint Partner Manager now gives you built in control over message payload compression before payloads are sent to Anypoint MQ or Active MQ so you can optimize for performance, efficiency, or reliability at scale. You can choose the mode that best fits your integration needs:
- No compression (default): Payloads are sent as-is
- Adaptive compression: Payloads are compressed only when they fail to be sent to MQ due to size limits, keeping things efficient without unnecessary overhead
- Always compress: Every payload is compressed before being sent to MQ, reducing queue storage and throughput across the board
This is available across CloudHub 1.0, CloudHub 2.0, and Runtime Fabric deployment targets. For configuration details, see the deployment settings documentation for your runtime.

Skip empty files on FTP/SFTP endpoints: A small but welcome addition: FTP and SFTP receive endpoints can now be configured to skip empty files during processing. No more unnecessary flow executions triggered by zero-byte files landing in your workflows, when you don’t want them. For details, see the FTP and SFTP Receive Endpoint Settings documentation.
Bring AI into everyday B2B operations
AI-powered payload summaries with Salesforce Einstein: Understanding what’s inside a B2B payload – whether it’s an EDI 850 purchase order or a custom XML message – often means scrolling through raw data and mentally parsing segment structures. That friction slows down troubleshooting and partner support.
With our latest release, business and IT users can now generate plain-language summaries of both EDI and non-EDI payloads directly from Partner Manager’s payload view, powered by Salesforce Einstein AI. Instead of reading through ISA/GS/ST segments or deeply nested JSON, you get a clear, human-readable summary of what the payload contains: who it’s from, what it represents, and the key data points that matter. Users can also download the summary as a PDF file to share with stakeholders.
This brings the power of AI to the people who need it most: the operations and partner support teams working in Partner Manager every day.

Why standardize your B2B integrations on MuleSoft?
These feature releases reflect a broader reality: B2B integration is evolving fast, and the platforms that win are the ones that can keep up.
Modern B2B order processing no longer lives in a single channel. Purchase orders arrive via EDI. Fulfillment updates come through APIs. Invoices land as PDF attachments in email inboxes. And increasingly, AI agents need to interact with all of it.
MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform is purpose-built for this reality. Anypoint Partner Manager gives you a single control plane for every B2B transaction – regardless of whether it arrives as an EDI X12 / EDIFACT document, an API call, an email, or an unstructured PDF.
Pair that with Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) to extract structured data from unstructured documents, and agentic AI powered by Model Context Protocol (MCP) to let AI agents orchestrate across your B2B operations, and you have a platform that doesn’t just process transactions – it understands them.
The result? One consistent order lifecycle. One place to monitor and troubleshoot. One platform your team actually wants to use.
