More money for more AI: The Berlin VC Merantix Capital has closed a new fund worth 103 million euros. According to Merantix, the capital will be used to finance around 40 AI startups in Europe – half as classic seed investments, the other half through its own venture studio. Union Investment, Jungheinrich and KPMG Germany are among the investors involved. Gründerszene talked to Adrian Locher, founder and general partner at Merantix Capital, about the strategy and goals of the new fund.
