About the Role
We are looking for experienced and passionate UK Curriculum Teachers who can teach students from Grade 1 through Grade 11 and above. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the British/UK Curriculum and be comfortable teaching multiple subjects at primary and/or secondary level. Candidates with experience teaching GCSE, IGCSE, O Level, A Level, or equivalent UK qualifications will be highly preferred.

Candidates do not need to teach every subject. Strong knowledge of multiple subjects and the ability to teach across different grade levels will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons based on the UK/British Curriculum.
- Teach students from Grade 1 to Grade 11+, depending on subject expertise.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, quizzes, tests, and learning materials.
- Explain difficult concepts in a simple and student-friendly manner.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify students’ strengths, weaknesses, and learning needs.
- Support students preparing for GCSE, IGCSE, O Level, A Level, or equivalent examinations where applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
- Adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and abilities.
- Create a positive, respectful, and engaging learning environment.
- Communicate professionally with parents, students, and the academic team.
- Use online teaching platforms and digital learning tools effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, the relevant subject, or a related field.
- 2+ years of teaching experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of the UK/British Curriculum.
- Experience teaching students from Grade 1–11+ is highly preferred.
- Experience with GCSE, IGCSE, O Level, A Level, or equivalent qualifications is an advantage.
- Strong subject knowledge, preferably across multiple subjects.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
- Ability to explain complex topics clearly and effectively.
- Strong lesson-planning and assessment skills.
- Comfortable teaching online and using digital tools.
- Reliable, punctual, professional, and committed to student success.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- UK teaching experience.
- Experience working with British schools or international schools.
- QTS, PGCE, iQTS, or another recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience with Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel, AQA, or other UK examination boards.
- Experience preparing students for GCSE/IGCSE and A-Level examinations.
- Experience teaching students from different cultural and academic backgrounds.
- For roles specifically requiring formal teaching in England, QTS can be an important requirement, although requirements vary depending on the type of school and teaching role. UK government guidance also recognises overseas qualifications and routes such as iQTS.

Because the role involves teaching children and young people, successful candidates should be prepared to provide appropriate identity, qualification, employment/reference, and safeguarding documentation as required by the organisation.
