Tim Cook announces great week of innovations | News

There was hardly any need for an official announcement that Apple has numerous innovations to present in the coming week. It is also considered certain to experience another “announcement week” – i.e. a wealth of announcements spread over several days. Now Tim Cook has confirmed with a posting on Everything starts on Monday morning (“A big week ahead. It all starts Monday morning!”).

#AppleLaunch as a hashtag
His posting is garnished with the hashtag #AppleLaunch and a five-second short video. In it you can see a hand moving over an aluminum surface and using finger gestures to form an Apple logo. The type of design suggests that you can see the hint of a Mac or iPad case back here.

Monday morning in Cupertino corresponds to late afternoon to early evening in our time zone – the time difference is nine hours. Apple usually refers to California’s “Pacific Time” when making such announcements.

Expected announcements
In at least some cases, it is easy to predict which innovations will be introduced in the coming week. The cheaper MacBook with the A18 chip is considered largely safe, and according to current forecasts it could be available starting at $699. Also to be expected is the successor to the iPhone 16e, consequently referred to as the iPhone 17e. In the iPad range, the basic model and the Air version are waiting for an update.

A new generation of the MacBook Air was also discussed – and of course the MacBook Pro with M5 Pro and M5 Max. Although the imminent M5 change is also considered very likely for the Mac Studio, it is uncertain whether Apple will choose next week for this. The same can be said about the new Studio Display, which has been revealed in the macOS code for a few weeks in the form of new model numbers. On Wednesday, March 4th, Apple is holding product events in several cities – so we can expect three days of announcements.
