Thypoch unveils 198g lightweight 35mm f/2 full frame lens

The lens can only be focused manually from a distance of 0.5 meters, with a noticeable resistance marking when it falls below 0.7 meters and thus the rangefinder-linked focus range. A lens coating that the manufacturer calls Epoch Coating 84′ is intended to give photos a warm, retro look. A panel with ten slats and a 39 millimeter filter thread complete the features.

Prices and availability

The Thypoch Ksana 35 mm f/2.0 full-frame lens is now available in the manufacturer’s online shop. The lens costs 529 euros without or 569 euros with a lens hood. Front and back covers are always included. Shipping is free, but the price excludes import sales tax and customs duties. The lens is only available with a Leica M bayonet, but can also be used on Sony E, Nikon Z, Fujifilm X and Canon RF cameras using an adapter.
