+++ The Stuttgart early-stage investor Mätch VC, sevdesk founder Fabian Silberer and Flip founder Benedikt Brand are investing around 1 million euros in Sophia. The startup (Freiburg, Berlin), founded in 2025 by Simon Tuechelmann (Kreatize, Knusperreich), wants to help medium-sized industrial companies automate manual business processes with AI. +++ The Berlin investor bmp Ventures invests in HelloTwin.ai. The startup from Halle (Saale), founded in 2024 by Kay Iversen and Elizabeth P. Morgan, wants to establish itself as a “semantic operating system for medium-sized businesses”. To do this, the young company is building “a semantic digital twin of the company and operating digital authorities on it, i.e. responsible AI that is responsible for business functions and their results”. The Exploration Company – European Astrotech
+++ The German-French NewSpace startup The Exploration Company (TEC) is taking over the company European Astrotech Ltd (EAL), which was founded in 2027 and which, among other things, takes care of propulsion systems for spacecraft. “EAL will continue to operate as an individual entity, and will continue to serve institutional and commercial customers across the space sector. EAL’s leadership team, existing contracts, service obligations, and operational agreements with customers will remain in place,” it says about the takeover. The Exploration Company, founded in 2021 by former Airbus executive Hélène Huby, “develops, produces and operates Nyx, a modular and reusable orbital vehicle that can be refueled in orbit.” More about The Exploration Company
Green Club
+++ The two Green Club creators Tobias Drabiniok and Peter Falk are taking over the shares of their long-time investor Dirk Schneider (BackWerk, Hans im Glück), who most recently held 100% of the Essen-based company. The duo now each hold 50 shares in the company, which emerged from the merger of Pottsalat and Make in 2024. The food delivery service, which was recently successfully renovated, is currently active at nine locations. More about Green Club
