The current TÜV report provides a clear answer to this – and selects the eight best used electric cars according to defect rate. A small car with a defect rate of just 3.5 percent surprisingly came in first place.

While the costs of gasoline and diesel have risen significantly in recent years and months, electric vehicles are becoming increasingly popular. This isn’t just the case in the new car market. Because used electric cars are also in high demand. But there are some models that can also be convincing as used ones.

8th place: VW ID.3 – solid basis with a 3.5 percent defect rate

With the VW ID.3, Volkswagen comes in eighth place in the ranking of the best used electric cars. According to TÜV, the space, chassis and quality of this model are impressive. With a defect rate of a low 3.5 percent (the brakes occasionally cause problems), the VW ID.3 is a solid used car from the electric segment.
