The best-selling electric cars in China
It is not clear from the ranking whether the best-selling electric cars in China are also the best models. However, only Tesla can break through the Chinese dominance in the ranking. However: Tesla also produces in Shanghai and is often considered a 100 percent Chinese brand within China. These are the ten best-selling electric cars in China:

The BYD Song Plus lands in tenth place in the ranking of the best-selling electric cars in China. The BYD Song Plus was sold a whopping 200,276 times in 2025. The vehicle is available as a purely electric model, but also as a hybrid variant.
