Well, to be honest, there should be more happening here right now, so just our short news. Your feedback in the last article and via direct message was just so motivating that I immediately thought of topics with which I would start the summer season together with you. Well, and then life got in the way again and the fresh adjustment to daycare, which will probably last a little longer and requires my full attention. And because I want to take a lot more time for all of this today than I did a few years ago, I unfortunately find less time to work at the moment. That’s OK, but after the warm wind you’ve given me, it’s a bit of a shame. Well, good. At least today is Wednesday and that always means: “Short News” day! And of course this week you will also find a small selection of industry news, inspiring pictures, sustainable news and both bizarre and beautiful to keep you up to date in small bites. Abuse of power and sexual assault: Serious allegations are being made against Rammstein singer Till Lindemann!
It’s about abuse of power, rape allegations, violence and castings to find new friends: Rammstein’s frontman Till Lindemann is accused of a lot and while the band wants to avoid prejudice and denies all allegations, there are more and more courageous questions who publicly share their terrible experiences. @shelbys69666 got the Lindemann case rolling – documenting her own experiences and the experiences of other people affected. More and more women are now joining them: like YouTuber Kayla Shyx, who shares the allegations of abuse of power and sexual violence against Till Lindemann in a video lasting more than 30 minutes. According to the influencer, she was at a Rammstein concert on June 4, 2022 and was invited to a special afterparty. In the past week, several women had already described similar processes. Two women told the “Süddeutsche Zeitung” about alleged sexual acts to which they did not consent. Further allegations so far: Female fans are said to have been secretly drugged. The band denied the allegations and asked not to be prejudged. Rammstein have now called in a law firm to have the allegations against singer Till Lindemann examined. Alena M., the so-called casting agent who is said to have cast fans for sex with the singer – on the Internet and at concerts – has now also banned concerts.

In honor of Peter Simonischek
We already told you last week that the Austrian actor Peter Simonischek died at the age of 76. The character actor shaped many characters on the theater stage and in front of the camera. His portrayal of “Toni Erdmann” received particular international attention. The award-winning film of the same name was nominated for the Oscar for best international film in 2017 and if you haven’t seen it yet, you have to catch up on Netflix!
ARTE is now honoring the great actor with the television film “At His Side,” in which he embodies an international star conductor alongside Senta Berger.
