Singapore — The Indian Ocean island nation of Seychelles has been awarded the prestigious “Dream Destination of the Year” title at the 2026 Blue Legacy Awards, held during the SeaKeepers Asia Ocean Conservation Gala Dinner in Singapore.
The award highlights Seychelles’ global reputation as a premier ocean destination, recognized not only for its natural beauty but also for its strong commitment to marine conservation and sustainable tourism practices.
“This recognition reflects Seychelles’ long-standing commitment to protecting its marine environment while promoting responsible travel,” said Mrs. Amia Jovanovic-DesirManager for Southeast Asia, Australasia, Israel and Turkey at the Ministry of Tourism.
The honor was presented by Mr. John ThetChief Executive Officer of Asia Dive Expo (ADEX), who commended Seychelles for its exceptional marine ecosystems and leadership in ocean stewardship.
