The color codes currently used internally
There are also Pantone codes; these can be assigned to the exact equivalents using the Pantone color finder. The exact tone could change by the time production starts, MacWorld adds. This decision is often only made at the very end of all development processes. The following colors are currently in use internally:
- Light Blue (Pantone 2121)
- Dark Cherry (Pantone 6076)
- Dark Gray (Pantone 426C)
- Silver (Pantone 427C)
If you implement light blue, dark cherry and dark gray according to these codes, the following design results:
iPhone Fold/Ultra: Slightly more neutral colors
However, only two colors are planned for the foldable iPhone, which Apple also plans to present in September, according to previous reports. The company is currently working with two options, namely a very light silver and a dark blue paint. Incidentally, when opened, the device is only 4.7 mm thin, which is even less than the 5.6 mm of the iPhone Air.
Other information about the iPhone 18 Pro
MacWorld also claims to have received confirmation from the same sources for other reports that have been circulating for weeks. Accordingly, the Dynamic Island is shrinking, although the basic design of the iPhone 18 Pro should largely be the same as the 17 Pro. However, the distance between the glass cutout and the camera plate could be a little smaller. However, MacWorld did not find any further information about the rumors about a bright red – all they know is that experiments have taken place with a whole range of red tones.
