Every year… I look forward to getting the box with my Christmas clothes out of the basement! During Advent, when there are so many celebrations and gatherings, the items of clothing are put to their proper use. Of course I can also find something in it for the holidays and New Year’s Eve. Since I have a few tried and tested Christmas outfit combinations, I thought I could dedicate a separate blog entry about plus size Christmas outfits to them today. Maybe you’ll find some inspiration for your outfit planning here too!

Plus size Christmas outfits

Bow sweater + matching skirt

I think this is now the Christmas outfit I’ve worn most often. I just love my bow sweaters! Why even decorate gifts with it?
I own two pieces: one with a gold bow, which I usually combine with my black tulle skirt with gold-colored dots + one with a silver bow, which I wear with a silver skirt. Black skirts or trousers would of course also go well… and shoes with gold or silver details?

Glitter dress

A classic – also works great on other festive occasions! I really like it when it sparkles and glitters a bit. My clothes are both from Yours Clothing.

Christmas sweater

Also simply a hit: a cozy sweater with a Christmas motif! “Ugly Christmas Sweater” – ugly and funny Christmas sweaters are very trendy. There is so much choice!
Personally, I don’t like it quite as wild… but there are lots of great variations there too.
My favorite thing in my closet is the pink knit sweater with the candy canes. It’s really warm, so it’s one of my standard outfits for visiting the Christmas market.

I particularly like to wear this combination on New Year’s Eve: a top with glitter details and a tulle skirt.

I actually didn’t wear that at Christmas, but I found it in my outfit photos earlier… and I think this combination of pink and dark blue can also look very festive.
