In the original Italian recipe, Aperol Spritz consists of the following ingredients:
- 3 parts white sparkling wine (Prosecco frizzante) from the Veneto
- 2 parts Aperol
- 1 part soda water/carbonated mineral water
or
- 2 parts (70%) Prosecco
- 1 part (30%) Aperol and
- a shot of mineral water.
The latter variant can be sweeter than the first. Sometimes Prosecco is also replaced with white wine.
