#OOTD: Leopard print dress with velvet headband – Instylequeen

unpaid advertising – because brand name

Hello my love,

When I first saw the images on my laptop, I almost didn’t recognize myself. Yes, my look is that different (due to this special time). At the moment I’m suffering from a bit of a “corona hangover”. At the first lookdown, I was still full of energy and in a “spirit of optimism”…I’m doing EVERYTHING that I never get around to doing otherwise: I’m renovating my apartment, sewing doll clothes for our little daughter out of old leftover fabric…Now it’s as if the Corona hangover has pulled the plug on me. I’m really tired now. I notice how exhausted I am from all the uncertainties, fears and worries that we now have. My state of mind is now reflected in my current looks. Instead of the lady look with high heels, there are flat shoes with comfortable, wide dresses and XXL sweaters. I call them “Walla Walla dresses” because they flutter beautifully when you run. They exude such lightness and work so beautifully with flat boots and fluffy knits. My husband hates these figureless dresses (like probably 80% of men) But HEY! At the moment I simply long more for comfort and a perfect world than to deal with sucking in my stomach and aching feet. I’ve also switched my sewing projects a bit to everyday clothing, since I only make it to work and grocery shopping anyway and it looks a bit strange in a bouclè dress. But times will come again and if not, then in a different way, perhaps with a little more appreciation because we as a society have thought a little more about ourselves. What do I want to change? What can I do with small things to make life better for us and nature.

Everyone feel hugged, hearted and hugged virtually. Above all, stay healthy, brave and also confident. Draw strength from what gives you joy, be it a walk with the dog, a good book with hot cocoa or your foot on the sewing machine pedal.
