About Tutoronics
Tutoronics is an online tutoring platform connecting students with qualified and experienced tutors to provide personalised academic support. We are looking for knowledgeable and dedicated Psychology tutors to teach students following international curricula, including IGCSE, AS Level, and A Level.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and interactive online Psychology lessons.
- Explain psychological theories, concepts, research studies, and approaches clearly.
- Teach relevant topics such as cognitive psychology, biological psychology, social psychology, developmental psychology, abnormal psychology, and psychological research methods according to the assigned curriculum.
- Explain key psychological perspectives, theories, and studies using relevant examples.
- Prepare lesson plans, revision notes, practice questions, and past-paper exercises aligned with the relevant exam board.
- Help students develop critical thinking, research analysis, evaluation, and academic writing skills.
- Teach students how to interpret research findings and apply psychological concepts to examination questions.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
- Conduct online classes using Google Meet, Zoom, digital whiteboards, and screen-sharing tools.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of online tutoring experience.
- Strong subject knowledge in Psychology.
- Experience teaching IGCSE, AS Level, and/or A Level students.
- Familiarity with international curricula and exam boards, such as Cambridge International and Pearson Edexcel.
- Excellent English communication and explanation skills.
- Ability to explain psychological theories, research studies, and research methods clearly.
- Strong understanding of exam techniques, evaluation questions, and assessment criteria.
- Proficiency in online teaching tools, including Google Meet, Zoom, digital whiteboards, and screen sharing.
- A relevant degree in Psychology or a related field is preferred.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable environment for online teaching.
- Ability to deliver structured, engaging, and student-focused lessons.
