About Tutoronics
Tutoronics is an online tutoring platform connecting students with qualified and experienced tutors to provide personalised academic support. We are looking for skilled and dedicated Computer Science / ICT tutors to teach students following international curricula, including IGCSE, AS Level, and A Level.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and interactive online Computer Science and ICT lessons.
- Explain programming concepts, algorithms, computational thinking, and problem-solving techniques clearly.
- Teach relevant topics such as programming, databases, data representation, computer systems, networks, cybersecurity, and information technology according to the assigned curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, practical exercises, revision materials, and past-paper practice aligned with the relevant exam board.
- Help students develop programming, analytical, and technical skills.
- Support students with exam preparation and coursework or practical tasks where applicable.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Adapt teaching methods to individual learning needs.
- Conduct online lessons using Google Meet, Zoom, digital whiteboards, screen sharing, and relevant coding or teaching tools.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of online tutoring experience.
- Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science and/or ICT.
- Experience teaching IGCSE, AS Level, and/or A Level curricula.
- Familiarity with relevant exam boards, such as Cambridge International and Pearson Edexcel.
- Ability to explain technical concepts and programming topics in clear, fluent English.
- Proficiency in online teaching tools, including Google Meet, Zoom, digital whiteboards, and screen sharing.
- Relevant academic qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field are preferred.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable environment for online teaching.
- Ability to deliver structured, engaging, and student-focused lessons.
