As organizations move AI agents from pilot to production, two critical risks have emerged: agent sprawl and identity spoofing. Without centralized visibility, IT leaders cannot govern the thousands of agents appearing across fragmented ecosystems. And without a way to verify if an agent is a legitimate tool or a malicious spoof, every autonomous request becomes a potential security breach.
MuleSoft Agent Fabric provides the framework to bridge this trust gap. Our Agent Scanners solve the visibility problem by automatically cataloging agents in MuleSoft Agent Registry. To help ensure the agents you discover are legitimate, we are integrating GoDaddy’s Agent Name Service (ANS) with Agent Scanners. This allows teams to natively discover, verify, and automatically ingest GoDaddy-verified agents into their ecosystem.
This integration addresses the “identity gap” inherent in current AI deployments. Most agents today operate as anonymous scripts, lacking a cryptographic signal to prove their origin. By leveraging GoDaddy’s ANS, we provide every agent with a digital passport. This allows systems to programmatically verify an agent’s provenance – confirming its source and version – before it is allowed to interact with enterprise data or take action on a user’s behalf.
MuleSoft Agent Fabric
MuleSoft Agent Fabric helps customers orchestrate and govern their diverse ecosystem of agents with four capabilities that work together to power the agentic enterprise. First, Agent Scanners automatically discover disparate agents built across ecosystems and catalog them in a central registry, turning fragmented silos into a maintained inventory of enterprise assets. Organizations can then orchestrate these assets via Agent Broker to intelligently execute complex, multi-step processes.
To ensure this workforce remains reliable and secure, organizations can apply consistent, enterprise-grade guardrails and security policies to govern every interaction. Finally, Agent Visualizer provides a dynamic map of your entire agent ecosystem, turning black box AI into transparent, observable systems. Together, these capabilities allow IT teams to scale a trusted, high-performing agent ecosystem.
GoDaddy Agent Name Service (ANS)
GoDaddy Agent Name Service gives every AI agent a verified identity tied to a real domain name. The same DNS infrastructure that tells browsers “this website is authentic” now answers a harder question for autonomous software: “Is this agent who it claims to be, and is it running the version I expect?”
ANS publishes to global DNS, sp verified agent identities are discoverable worldwide within seconds, using infrastructure already deployed to every network on earth. Each version gets its own cryptographic certificate, so a compromised release can be revoked without disrupting the domain.
Every registration and change lands in a tamper-proof transparency log that any participant can audit. And because ANS is built on open standards rather than a proprietary platform, verified identities travel with agents across protocols like MCP and A2A. No vendor lock-in or blind trust.
The power of integration: How they work together
By combining MuleSoft’s orchestration and governance with GoDaddy’s identity signal, we’ve created a “verify, then execute” model.
- MuleSoft handles the heavy lifting of scanning and discovering, making it easy to find agents across the ecosystem. Simultaneously, GoDaddy ANS provides the cryptographic identity, ensuring every GoDaddy agent has a “digital passport” that cannot be spoofed.
- As a user, you can simply validate these agents in Agent Registry and decide which verified agents are allowed to interact with your enterprise APIs and sensitive data.
The result: You can now scale your AI workforce with total confidence, knowing that every agent is exactly who they claim to be.
Enterprise AI only scales when agents can work together across an open ecosystem, discovered and trusted regardless of who built them or where they live. We are moving past traditional security models to a framework that requires verifiable identity for every autonomous actor. As part of our open ecosystem approach to support agents wherever they are created, integrating GoDaddy’s Agent Name Service (ANS) introduces a digital passport for agents that are registered with GoDaddy, allowing teams to programmatically verify provenance before any data is exchanged. This helps to ensure that as your agent ecosystem grows, your identity posture remains unbreakable.

Announcing the ANS-Aware Agent Registry
This integration bridges the global GoDaddy ANS registry with local enterprise governance, effectively reducing unvetted agents by populating your ecosystem with verified, high-trust assets from day one. Now, Agent Registry on MuleSoft provides a curated directory for verified external agents.
Administrators can now configure GoDaddy as a trusted source within the Scanner UI. This allows you to ingest agents directly from GoDaddy into your private Exchange instance. This automated bridge helps to ensure that only agents with a valid ANS registration can even be considered for enterprise use.
How to get started
Here is how to use the new MuleSoft + GoDaddy ANS integration to bring verified, governed autonomy to your enterprise, enabling all discovered GoDaddy agents, via Agent Scanners, to be cataloged in the centralized MuleSoft Agent Registry built on Anypoint Exchange.
Set up GoDaddy Credentials
Before configuring the scanner, you must establish your identity source in the GoDaddy Developer Portal. Log in to your GoDaddy Developer Portal account. Then, generate an API Key and Secret, which will be used by the MuleSoft scanner to authenticate the connection.
Configure MuleSoft Agent Scanner
With your credentials ready, navigate to the Anypoint Platform to link the services. Log in to Anypoint Platform and navigate to the Agent Scanner (ensure you have the necessary permissions to Add an Agent Scanner). Next, add a new scanner and input your GoDaddy credentials (API Key and Secret). Then, schedule the scan. Once you input the API Key and Secret and save the configuration, the scanner will appear in the dashboard as “Scheduled.”
Discover agents in Private Exchange
Once the scanner runs, it pulls all verified agents from GoDaddy based on your specific criteria. These agents are then listed in your Private Exchange. View the full details of these agents, including metadata and instances, directly within your MuleSoft environment.
Use agents with GoDaddy’s ANS Registry
You are now ready to use GoDaddy verified agents. For more information on Registration Authority attestation for agent verification and interacting with the ANS Registry in general, please see GoDaddy’s Developer Documentation.

The future is open, verified, and agentic
Salesforce’s mission with MuleSoft has always been to connect the world’s applications, data, and devices. By integrating GoDaddy’s Agent Name Service (ANS) with MuleSoft Agent Fabric, we’re extending that mission into the agentic future and helping to ensure that when agents interact with enterprise data, those agents are verified (who), they have trusted agent identity (on behalf of user) and actions audited (what did the agent do) to provide enterprise-grade security posture your business demands
