Happy Monday, dear ones! I was just thinking about how many years I have written the Monday update week after week with exactly this introduction and how many of you always started the new week with it.
It has now been over three years since the Monday update became a monthly update. Issue 40 goes online today. On days like this I always notice how incredibly quickly time flies. How much has happened in these three years, how long ago some things happened, and how sometimes it still feels as if you only slept a few times and then another year has passed.
Fiete, for example, has only just come into our lives, and at the same time it has been over five years since this little dog has enriched our everyday lives.
In this fast-moving world, it is so important to pause, consciously perceive and enjoy moments. Moments with people we love. Moments that make up life and that we will remember for a long time. Monday Thoughts.
A look back at May and a look ahead to June
We are currently spending a lot of time in the area around Munich, more precisely in Bavaria and Austria. The months of May and June are packed with photo productions for us. On the one hand, projects for the blog, on the other hand, classic photography jobs for hotel customers. If you would like to find out more about this part of our everyday life, please take a look here.
May took us, among other places, to Lake Tegernsee and to Lake Traunsee in Austria. Two beautiful lakes with a mountain backdrop and yet two such different projects. If you want to read more about it: we reported in detail about Tegernsee here and here we take you on our trip to Lake Traunsee.
We spent the last few days in Berchtesgadener Land. We will also tell you about this trip here on the blog this week. In between, we enjoyed the most beautiful early summer days in Munich, spent a lot of time with our favorite people, took our lunch break to the Isar and spent our first evenings in the beer garden.
And in June? Among other things, we will travel to South Tyrol and get to know a place in Bavaria that is new to us (yes, there is still so much to discover for us too!). We’re also going back to Schwäbisch Hall at the end of the month for a job, which we really enjoyed during a short visit last July.

Now online: the Sézane Archive Sale
Our favorite French brand Sézane has once again opened the archives and significantly reduced some of the highlights from previous years. Including a few very personal favorite pieces like my favorite floral dress and the Georgia earrings that I’m wearing in the teaser picture, for example.

By the way, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your feedback on a wide variety of channels about this article, which went online in May and immediately became the most read column of this year. And thank you for being so respectful (with very few exceptions) in the comments under the accompanying Instagram post, which went viral and brought with it so much exchange.
So, and last but not least, I have a new look for you. (Almost) all pieces are current and listed here:

And now I would like to share with you an atmospheric picture of a wonderful “looking forward to midsummer” evening. Where in Bavaria was it created? We’ll tell you that in the coming days. You can be excited!
