Bestway Cement is seeking a professional to support its UK Portfolio and Corporate Development team. Based in Islamabad, this role contributes to monitoring portfolio performance and developing analysis that supports sound corporate decisions.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitor and analyse financial and operational performance across portfolio companies, tracking results against budgets, forecasts and agreed objectives.
- Prepare clear reports, dashboards and presentations that highlight trends, variances, risks and opportunities.
- Support financial modelling, valuation work and scenario analysis for portfolio reviews and corporate development initiatives.
- Gather and validate information from internal teams and portfolio stakeholders, maintaining accurate and timely analytical inputs.
- Research relevant markets, industries and comparable businesses to inform performance assessments and strategic decisions.
- Coordinate preparation for portfolio review meetings and follow up on agreed actions with relevant stakeholders.
The successful candidate will combine strong analytical judgement with careful attention to detail and the ability to communicate findings clearly to colleagues across locations. This is an Islamabad-based, office role supporting the UK-focused team; it does not normally require travel.
