However, many users prefer laptops because they enable mobile working and do not require the purchase of additional accessories such as a keyboard. The MacBook Neo is aimed precisely at this target group. Apple’s plans with the cheapest notebook seem to be working: it is so well received that delivery to the Apple Store this month is out of the question.

Apple Online Store: Shipping only in May
Anyone who orders a MacBook Neo from the German Apple Online Store needs a little patience: all configurations will only be available between May 5th and May 13th. The only exception is the model in citrus with 256 gigabytes of memory: a MacBook Neo configured in this way will only arrive at the buyer between May 13th and 21st. In other countries, the situation doesn’t look much better: US customers, for example, won’t receive the notebook before May either. At least Cupertino seems to have stocked its retail stores with enough copies. If you have the opportunity to visit an Apple Store, you will usually find the desired variant of the product there.

The limited availability in the online store is likely due to several reasons: On the one hand, the price of the MacBook Neo is quite attractive – especially in view of the increased prices of Windows notebooks. On the other hand, reports suggest that the A18 Pro is in short supply, which poses problems for Apple.
