Jewelry and clothing: How to look stylish

For me, jewelry is never just “deco.” He changes an outfit – sometimes very quietly, sometimes very consciously. And that’s exactly why the choice is often not that easy. In everyday life, I don’t need an elaborate necklace or a sparkling diamond ring with a T-shirt and jeans. I like it more reserved. A fine ring, small hoop earrings, maybe a simple necklace. Jewelry can be present, but it doesn’t have to be loud. It feels completely different in the evening. When I go out or have a special occasion, it can be more. Then jewelry gets space – and can also wear an outfit, not just complement it. If you’re wondering which jewelry goes with which clothing, in the end there’s one thing that helps: your own sense of style.

Your style determines the jewelry – not the other way around

I usually choose jewelry at the end. The outfit is ready – and then I think about what it needs. Or not. If you prefer to be more elegant, jewelry can be your style choice. He sets accents, picks up colors or deliberately introduces a contrast. I love a necklace with pearls or gemstones, especially for simple, monochrome looks. It frames the face, emphasizes the neck, and gives depth. Earrings can act like small points of light. I think it’s particularly nice when stones underline the color of your eyes or stand out clearly from the fabric. It’s not about matching perfectly – it’s about creating tension.

The thing with the “three” when wearing jewelry

Most women know the secret that the combination of jewelry should not exceed the number of three decors. You can wear a necklace, earrings and ring, brooch, earrings and bracelet, but not the luxury watch. Only things that don’t look exaggerated look beautiful. This is an unbreakable law if you want to put your best foot forward.

Jewelery for everyday life and for festive occasions

Fine necklaces and rings, simply made of gold or silver and set with small gemstones, go well with almost every style of clothing. These are not too noticeable in your professional life and everyday life, but they do emphasize your exquisite taste. Formal attire is most common in the office, although you can choose jewelry that is a tasteful but less flashy addition. Large bracelets and long necklaces are rather annoying and also completely impractical.

In the evening or at celebrations, you can exaggerate a little and let your imagination run wild. An elegant designer necklace or an eye-catching luxury watch are always a good idea here. I recommend you choose your jewelry to suit your style. And yes – age plays less of a role than attitude. It’s not “too young” or “too old” that matters, but rather whether it looks harmonious.

Jewelry needs the right moment

If you own exquisite jewelry that costs a lot, wearing it is also a real experience. A sophisticated necklace would of course be wasted in everyday life when you go shopping or sit in the office. A fine piece of jewelry needs an extraordinary moment and is best shown off when you wear it like your date does with you. If you already own the jewelry, you can choose a low-cut dress or a stylish, slightly open blouse that allows you to see it and is further emphasized by the necklace or necklace. If you use clothes that are already hanging in your closet, the monochrome outfit is particularly suitable for eye-catching stones and materials.

Jewelry in summer

Everything changes in summer. Fabrics become lighter, skin becomes visible, colors become softer or more intense. I like to be out and about, relaxing in the park or on the beach or drinking an ice-cold drink in the shade. Here, choosing which jewelry makes sense often depends on where I’m going. For the light summer outfit, delicate bracelets and necklaces are required, as well as creative fashion jewelry. Large, colored earrings go well with the top and short skirt. Look for colors that complement your tanned skin or pair aesthetically with light clothing. Pearls are always a real eye-catcher in summer, but so are wooden jewelry and glass creations.

In the end, jewelry is not a matter of rules, but rather a matter of feeling. It can underline you, not disguise you. When it feels right, you can tell.
