One of the advantages of the new AirTags series is the sound, which is up to 50 percent louder compared to the previous model. In addition, precise location also works over larger distances thanks to the built-in U2 chip. The firmware update will be installed automatically.

iPad Air 3: Only limited repairs are possible
The MacBook Air 13″ (2017) recently landed on Apple’s vintage list; the Apple TV HD and the iPad mini (2015) are now even considered discontinued, which categorically excludes repairs from Apple and authorized service partners (see here).
Now there is another product in the “Vintage” category: repairs are only possible to a limited extent for the third generation iPad Air, which came onto the market in 2019. The cellular version of the device was already affected by this, and from now on these restrictions also apply to the WiFi version. The iPad Air 3 replaced its predecessor after five years and brought with it a significantly faster chip (A12 instead of A8X). The screen diagonal grew by 0.8 inches and it supported the Apple Pencil. It also had a headphone jack – the subsequent series did without this.
