Apple provides appropriate labeling for software that falls into the main or secondary categories of “Health & Fitness” or “Medical”. Also affected are apps which, according to the developers, “frequently” refer to medical information. The relevant information will be displayed on the product page of such an app in the future. Newly submitted software must now contain such information; for existing apps, Cupertino grants a deadline until the beginning of 2027. If this deadline passes without providing the information, updates will be blocked.
Discontinued: Wheels and stands for the Mac Pro
The Mac Pro is history: Apple no longer sells the tower computer. If you’re looking for a powerful desktop Mac, you’ll find it with Mac Studio. The end of the Mac Pro also means the end of certain accessories. This applies, for example, to the roller kit: It included four wheels to make the tower movable. The castors, made of stainless steel and rubber, were of high quality, but were anything but a bargain: buyers had to pay 849 euros for the set.
No longer available from Apple: The “Mac Pro Roll Kit”
If you want to buy the 2.3 kilogram product new, you will now have to look for remaining stock at retailers like Amazon. This also applies to the kit with the four feet: It is aimed primarily at those users who already bought the Mac Pro with wheels when ordering and is available on Amazon for just under 177 instead of 349 euros.
