Users can create pictures of their clothing items here and put them together into outfits directly in the app. An AI function then creates a preview of this combination of clothing, bag and jewelry – for this Google uses the user’s photos and (undefined) artificial intelligence.
First Android
The Wardrobe feature is set to debut in the Android version of the app this summer; the iOS version will follow later. It will be exciting to see to what extent AI-supported fittings make everyday life easier. Even an AI cannot answer where the individual parts of an outfit are currently located and whether they actually fit.
Changes to Google Maps reviews
The user reviews displayed on Google Maps are essential for many businesses, which is why many stores try to get rid of negative impressions. In Germany, Google is obliged to delete reviews if they contain slander or false allegations. The threshold for this is apparently quite low. That’s why Google will show how many reviews of a company have been removed in the future. Only deletions that were removed in the past twelve months based on defamation complaints are counted. Their content remains hidden.
Pseudonymized evaluation
With a second measure, Google wants to prevent poorly rated companies from exerting direct pressure on disappointed customers. From now on, users can assign a nickname for Google reviews. This prevents the rated company from finding out the user’s real name. However, the pseudonymized account remains linked to the user, so you remain liable in the event of legal disputes.
